lost & found

i saved the most precious intentions
for the rainy days of strangers
selfless little baubles
strung together like
a vintage string of pearls
a vagabond rosary
(a tether)
kept tucked away
in the velvet compartments
of my heart’s music box
when opened
a tiny ballerina emerges
a pirouetting pandora
(a distraction)
to the eighteen note
plucking of greensleeves
this is where lost things
go to be found

"She would fill endless notebooks with stories about the characters in her life, their impressions, words, friends, lovers, inspirations, fantasies. She spent her days dreaming up worlds where they fit together in visions; the if only, the never again, the someday. Those who knew her best would describe her as a creature with a clear and sometimes painful sense of herself; furious with ideas and convictions, to a point that she frightened love away with discernment and a relentless strength of character."

  1. I’m going to keep spamming your page so apologies if you have notifications on!

This one is sad. But I like that it’s hopeful in a way, possibly commenting more on introverted nature than being recluse.

Yet I still wonder what it means to be lost and what it means to be found. Are we lost if we know we’re tucked away? Or is it merely a case of needing that other side – Dominance / submission (depending on preference) – to balance your soul.

Or maybe I’m mistaken. It’s easy to forget when you find comments on your page and track down that person but not everyone that follows you is into BDSM or D/s so maybe, jussst maybe, I’m wrong in this regard.
