Should’ve

he should’ve known

from the heat

permeating

from the barrel

he should’ve guessed

from the smoke

wafting

around the muzzle

he should’ve realized

from the moisture

coating

the trigger

she’s high caliber

powder

a sexual sniper

with deadly accuracy

kill count

unrivaled

no silencer necessary

he should’ve dressed

in a bullet proof vest

he should’ve called

witness protection

he should’ve listened

 she’s contracted

by desire

he should’ve believed

she doesn’t

take hostages

she doesn’t

give second chances

and she doesn’t

fire a warning shot

"She would fill endless notebooks with stories about the characters in her life, their impressions, words, friends, lovers, inspirations, fantasies. She spent her days dreaming up worlds where they fit together in visions; the if only, the never again, the someday. Those who knew her best would describe her as a creature with a clear and sometimes painful sense of herself; furious with ideas and convictions, to a point that she frightened love away with discernment and a relentless strength of character."
